After winning the third championship in the service of Olympiacos, coach Pedro Martins is appointed one of the sponsors of the success of the Greek team.
In an interview with a diary MagazineDaniel Podense and José Sa, both players from Wolverhampton, where they moved after representing Olympiacos, spoke about their compatriot and made an interesting revelation.
“He is ready, although Olympiacos is a big club compared to most Premier League teams. The quality that is here will not be a problem for him and he will achieve good results,” Podense fired, and the goalkeeper repeated his thought: “He is ready for this and for great flights. He deserves it for what he has done all these years at Olympiacos.
The players highlighted the methodology of the 52-year-old coach, talked about the relationship with the athletes, and also mentioned his importance for success.
“What makes him special is the way he drives. The relationship with the players, the fact that he knows and understands everything that happens to them, as well as the intelligence with which he prepares games. As a person, he is modest, simple and accessible,” Podens explained.
“Peter [Martins] loves footballers who love to work. He can and does get the best out of each of his players, and they, in turn, help the team in any way they can,” added José Sa.
