BALL – Leicester win Vanya Marsala debut, Newcastle sent off by Tier 3 team (FA Cup)

Leicester stamped their pass to the fourth round of the FA Cup by beating Watford 4-1 at home in a game marked by Vani Marsala’s debut in the first team.

The young Portuguese U-20 midfielder entered the field after a break when Leicester won 2-1. Tilmans (7 minutes) and Maddison (25 minutes) scored goals for the home team, while Brazilian Joao Pedro (27 minutes) reduced the score in favor of the guests. Barnes (54 ‘) and Albrighton (85’) recorded the final score in the second half.

Ricardo Pereira, injured, remains out of the options for Brendan Rogers.

22-year-old Portuguese midfielder Domingos Quinas was in the starting lineup for Fulham, who also won a 1-0 minor win over Bristol City.

There was a surprise in St. James’s Park: Newcastle were eliminated (0-1) from Cambridge from the first league (third level). Joe Ironside scored a goal in the 57th minute.
