The 2021/22 League draw ended this Sunday. The competition was won by FC Porto who became champions with a record 91 points.
The Dragons will advance to the Champions League group stage, where Sporting will also finish in second place. Benfica complete the podium and will compete in the third qualifying round for access to the millionaires contest.
In fourth place, Braga advance to the Europa League (they qualify for the group stage if Porto wins the Portuguese Cup), while Gil Vicente in fifth place guaranteed an unprecedented qualification to the third qualifying round of the League conference. Vitoria de Guimarães, in sixth place, awaits the results of the Portuguese Cup final (between Porto and Tondela), knowing that if the Dragons win the queens’ competition, they will advance to the second qualifying round of the Conference League.
At the bottom of the table, Belenenses SAD and Tondela have relegated to Ligue 2. Moreirense, on the other hand, will be in contention for last place in the League with Chavez in playoffs.
