The death at an Astroworld concert by Travis Scott was caused by accidental asphyxiation, the coroner said.

The victims were reportedly trapped as thousands of fans ran towards the stage. Witnesses stated that they fell to the ground and were trampled underfoot.

The autopsy findings could set the direction of a criminal investigation into the tragedy, which raised questions about crowd control and safety at major events.

The ten deaths occurred between the ages of nine and 27.

Another 300 people were injured out of 50,000 people who were present at the scene.

Travis Scott says he didn’t notice the deaths

Rapper Travis Scott gave his first interview after the tragedy at the Astroworld festival, where 10 people died during the artist’s concert.

V The American rapper makes sure that he only realized the deaths and the real chaos at the end of the concert.

“I didn’t know the exact details a few minutes before the press conference (after the concert),” he said in an interview with Charlamagne tha God on YouTube.

Travis Scott interrupted the concert twice, once to call security to help an unconscious fan, but claims that the noise of the pyrotechnics on stage makes it impossible to tell what’s going on.

The artist claims that he did not hear the audience’s requests for help.

An investigation was launched into the causes of death and complaints that someone had injected drugs into people. Investigations of security barriers and human control are also underway.
