Emma got married in 2000 at the age of 22, but a few years ago that the relationship began to deteriorate. In January 2021, the husband left home and they separated. The divorce took place in October of the same year. “It was very bad when he left. I felt useless. I had panic attacks,” she admits, adding that “I didn’t have confidence in myself and I was very isolated. I just existed, worked to pay the bills and survived.”
Realizing that she needed to move on, the mother of two began to redo her wardrobe, the way she dressed, and put red lipstick on for the first time. “Now everything about me is completely different. People say that I look amazing compared to what I used to be, and I think it’s because I’m so happy inside. Now I always smile, and this is just the beginning,” he says.
Emma doesn’t have a partner yet, but she is looking for love on Tinder. On a dating app, he got a lot of attention and found a former contestant on the Love Island reality show: “He texted me that I’m very pretty and don’t look 42 years old. I was flattered. It was shocking and quite funny,” he says.
