Apple has spent the past few days giving clear signs that it is preparing to launch a new version of its Apple Music streaming service soon, which should include lossless music streaming for superior audio quality.

There have been rumors of a HiFi version of Apple Music for some time now, and now it looks like the Cupertino-based company is preparing an official announcement for the next few hours.

In addition to the new modality of Apple Music with lossless quality, Apple should also take the opportunity to finally show and make available the new AirPods 3, thus adding audio-focused hardware advertisements to software advertisements.

Apple Music HiFi may include Spatial Audio compatibility.

Apple recently posted a teaser in the “Overview” section of Apple Music, telling fans to get ready as “music is about to change forever.” Adding this to the rumors about the premium modality of Apple Music, it is becoming more and more certain that an official revelation is coming soon.

It is even possible that the lossless service will be unveiled tomorrow, May 18, along with the third iteration of the AirPods, which will adopt the Pro model format, leaving aside some premium additional features such as active noise cancellation.

AirPods 3 could even turn Spatial Audio into the most affordable version of Apple’s true wireless network, with the brand taking advantage of the launch of this new version of the music streaming service to offer hardware that can take full advantage of the improved audio quality.

AirPods Pro and AirPods Max will certainly be the earbuds that best benefit from Apple Music HiFi as their quality and features are already more premium and adapted to today’s high-quality audio needs.
