The technological world does not stop even two days ago Apple releases new iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 update for its devicesis already working on a new update for mobile operating systems with many new features.

Apple Betas developers and adherents have already started receiving the new iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 update. This new version introduces many new features, some of which were highlighted in iOS 15, but according to Apple itself, will not be available from the start on hardware updated to the new version of the operating system.

One of the features that Apple announced in iOS 15 but didn’t have was SharePlay, and for now, it’s a major new feature in iOS 15.1 Beta that the developers say is now available to developers. 9to5Mac… It is also noted that this feature was already available in iOS 15 Beta 2, however Apple eventually removed the feature by announcing a delay in its availability.

According to Apple, “SharePlay has been re-enabled in beta releases of iOS 15.1, iPadOS 15.1, and tvOS 15.1 and no longer requires a SharePlay developer profile. To continue developing SharePlay support for your macOS applications, please upgrade to macOS Monterey beta 7 and install this new development profile. “

In addition to this functionality, the new Beta 15.1 also allows users to add their COVID vaccine card to the Wallet app after they have added it to Health. Similar to how this feature works in Google’s version, you need to get information about a vaccine from a doctor or healthcare system before adding it to your phone.

Apple says this feature uses the SMART Health Card format, which is currently supported by several US states and some of the major vaccine providers, and would be very helpful if released globally as well.

These features, introduced in the iOS 15.1 beta, don’t necessarily mean they’ll be in the latest iOS 15.1 – after all, SharePlay was introduced during the iOS 15 beta but was later removed. However, Apple still says SharePlay will be released “later this fall,” and there is still time for that, and if it were removed from this feature in another beta, it would be very strange to say the least. The vaccination card feature will be included in the “next software update” so it may not even be released in this new version.

It may also take a while before we see iOS 15.1 as iOS 15 was released just two days ago and iOS 14.1 came out about a month after iOS 14.
