BUT Apple convinced that either iPhone 13 will benefit from even more success than the smartphone family iPhone 12 and is already advising its manufacturing partners to prepare to produce even more units by the end of 2021.

According to Bloomberg, US tech has seen a roughly 20% increase in production, implying huge demand for the iPhone 13, which will launch this September.

Mark Gurman and Debbie Wu claim that Apple will produce around 90 million iPhone 13 units, all of which will be sold by the end of this year.

Apple predicts iPhone 13 will be even more successful than iPhone 12

By comparison, the Cupertino brand produced 75 million iPhone 12s in 2020, which makes it clear that Apple expects the supercycle to continue with its new offerings.

The company is justifying this optimism by incorporating new technologies and features into various iPhone 13s, which should motivate a significant proportion of users to upgrade their smartphones.

The iPhone 13 should return in 4 different models, all of which will be powered by the 6-core A15 Bionic processor. The cameras will undergo several improvements, with the Pro and Pro Max models being the most effective in this regard.

One of the biggest news will even be the inclusion of OLED LTPO screens in the Pro and Pro Max models, which will finally bring the ecosystem the coveted 120Hz variable refresh rate that has been a part of Android users’ lives for several years now.

As usual, Apple will unveil the iPhone 13 family this September at an event that is expected to be filled with news about the company’s hardware.
