Another child on the way

The 57-year-old British Prime Minister is expecting a sixth child. The announcement was made by “Britain’s First Lady” Carrie Symonds on Instagram last Saturday, who said the baby would be born around Christmas.

The publication by Boris Johnson’s wife also revealed that the couple had a miscarriage earlier this year after going through a difficult period: “I feel incredibly happy to be pregnant again, but I am also very anxious. Fertility issues can be very difficult for many people, especially on a platform like Instagram where things always seem to go well. It was a great comfort to hear the stories of other people who have experienced the same loss. I hope that this little exchange that I am doing now can also help other people. “

Carrie called her son “the rainbow baby” – this is the name of the child born after an abortion, referring to the phenomenon that occurs after a hurricane.

The couple’s second child, he joins Wilfred, who was born in April 2020, shortly before his father left intensive care after contracting covid-19.

For more than 20 years, they have separated Boris Johnson and his wife, whose relationship has been known since 2018, and Carrie is the former director of public relations for the Conservative Party. At that time, Boris Johnson was still married to his current ex-wife Marina Wheeler. The marriage to Carrie was only concluded in May this year at a secret ceremony at Westminster Cathedral in London.

Boris and Carrie were the first unmarried couple to settle at 10 Downing Street (though they had moved next door in the meantime).

Despite the fact that this is Boris’s second child from his current wife, the truth is that at least five other children are known to exist. The British Prime Minister has consistently refused to indicate how many children he has, even telling the BBC in 2019 that “a person’s personal life is his concern.”

But let’s start from the beginning: in 1987, Boris Johnson married his college sweetheart, Alegre Mostin-Owen, but the marriage lasted only six years and twelve days after the divorce papers were signed, he had already remarried – to lawyer Marina Wheeler.

Marina, in addition to being his second wife, was Johnson’s first known extramarital affair. They had four children: Lara Lettis, Milo Arthur, Cassia Peach and Theodore Apollo.

The marriage was marred by several betrayals, the most controversial of which was journalist Petronella Wyatt, when the current Prime Minister was its director for the British magazine The Spectator. When the scandal was made public in 2004, the journalist stated that she had two abortions on Boris Johnson.

However, this was not enough for Marina to file for divorce, since this happened only in May last year.

Boris’s descendant is also Stephanie McIntyre, who was born in 2009 as a result of an extramarital relationship with art consultant Helen McIntyre. However, Stephanie McIntyre is allegedly Boris’s second child, born out of wedlock.

In 2020, Wildfred Laurie Nicholas Johnson was born to his current wife, whose name is a tribute to the professionals who accompanied Boris during his hospitalization due to covid-19.
