Angela Ferreira, a woman who moved from the country at the beginning of 2020, having told that she wanted to get pregnant from her already deceased husband, will be able to fulfill her wish. This was announced by journalist Emanuel Monteiro, who published Angela’s story in the reportage Amor Sem Fim, broadcast on January 3, 2020 on TVI.

“Angela’s case is almost settled. The law has already been approved in parliament so that she can get pregnant. However, he was vetoed by the president of the republic and had to return to parliament to get the final cut so that she could “finally get pregnant with Hugo,” the journalist told TVI’s Em Família program last Saturday.

“The presidency will eventually approve of it because the law was not passed on the issue of inheritance, but which will not interfere with the process,” he added.

It should be remembered that this issue was brought to parliament by the Widow’s Civic Legislative Initiative (ILC), which collected over 20,000 signatures for the inclusion of posthumous insemination in the artificial insemination system (PMA).
