American youths “have a special responsibility” not to spread coronavirus to vulnerable populations

Vice President Mike Pence holds public coronavirus task force an immediate briefing, first formal public meeting since April 27th.

The briefing came a day after the US saw note number New cases of corona virus in one day with 37,077 were reported Thursday, according to Johns Hopkins University.

Thursday’s total surpassed the previous high on April 24, when 36,291 cases of new corona virus were reported throughout the country.

At least 32 countries saw an increase in the Covid-19 case, and California, Oklahoma and Texas saw a new high peak.

The briefing will not be done at the White House, but at the Department of Health and Human Services, according to the schedule issued by the White House.

Since Pence was chaired to lead the coronavirus task force on February 27, there have been a total of 47 briefings at the White House, most led by President Trump, and several others led by vice-presidents.

In recent days, Trump has tried to declare a pandemic “over” although the numbers are increasing, and vice versa focus the energy of his administration on reopening the economy.

According to the White House update schedule, Trump is no longer traveling to Bedminster, New Jersey this weekend.
