AMD Unveils Radeon 7000 RDNA3 During Ryzen 7000 Launch

The RDNA3 architecture is expected to deliver a 50% performance per watt improvement over RDNA2.

During the official presentation of the CPU AMD Ryzen 7000 AMD briefly introduced the Radeon 7000 line of graphics cards with the new RDNA3 architecture.. To demonstrate the capabilities of RDNA3, Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, chose a small demo of the long-awaited Lies of P. new architecture should have a 50% performance boost per watt relative to RDNA2.

AMD gave a small teaser of the next generation of RDNA 3 graphics at the end of the presentation of the Radeon 7000 CPU line. The Lies of P demo ran in 4K resolution with graphics set to ultra and put GPU Radeon 7000 based on RDNA3 architecture along with CPU Top Zen 4 Ryzen 9 7950X. Unfortunately, the demonstration was short and only fired the imagination. The CEO noted that the game “looks great” on Radeon graphics cards, but did not report important data such as FPS. The camera position did not contribute to the visualization of the game and therefore it is difficult to draw any conclusions about what was shown at the event.

On the other hand, during the event that took place last Monday (29), AMD made a full presentation about new line of Ryzen 7000 processors Zen 4 up to 5.7GHz on 5nm FinFet process.

O The AMD CPU delivered over 57% performance and efficiency gains.. In addition, the Ryzen 9 7950X processor delivers 47% better performance per watt than the competition.

The new generation of AMD processors went on sale on September 27th. Several models will arrive at the same starting price as the previous generation. The one exception would be the high-end Ryzen 9 7950X processor, which costs $699, $100 less than the Ryzen 9 5950X’s MSRP at launch.
