Quoted by Sky NewsMitchell’s lawyer Gloria Allred argued that Baldwin, a “veteran of the industry,” should not have trusted the weapon the assistant director had just handed him over when it should have been in the hands of a gunsmith.

Mr. Baldwin decided to play Russian roulette when he fired a bullet without confirming whether it was loaded or not.“, – the lawyer said to reporters.

“Behavior of Baldwin and the Producers Rust it was reckless, ”he added.

Among the security protocol violations identified by the screenwriter, the lawyer highlighted permission to store live ammunition during filming, as well as leaving weapons and ammunition unattended, which, in addition to the gunsmith, were handled by other people.
