As you know, the audience will return to Portuguese stadiums tonight for the Super Cup between Sporting and Braga, and this will apply to all League matches in 2021/2022. In this sense, and after several meetings between the Board, led by Pedro Proensa, and the health authorities, the Liga Portugal closed with clubs the rules governing fan access to sports venues in two professional competitions – already in force for tomorrow’s games, counting on the League Cup. Thus, we will discuss how the return of the public to the stands will be carried out.

The capacity of stadiums is known to be limited to 33 percent of their capacity – at least in this first phase. For this, it is determined that two chairs are installed between each spectator and that the first two rows of stands are not occupied if they are not at a distance of two or more meters from the lawn.

The standard also requires that everyone who wants to watch the matches must provide a digital certificate, which can be obtained in three ways: complete vaccination, negative test (PCR performed 72 hours before antigen or antigen in the previous 48 hours) or a statement of cure. on Covid-19 over the past six months. The mask inside the stadiums will continue to be mandatory, and the entrances and exits will have to take place in different locations. Tickets sold for games must be nominal, meaning all spectators must be correctly identified, and the capacity of the official boxes will be limited to 50%.
