A BOLA – The Lions Don’t Give Up João Mario (Sporting)

The failure of João Mario’s trial will not force the Leonian administration to abandon its intention to hire the 28-year-old midfielder who played last season at Inter’s Alvalada.

After the agreement that was on the table during one of the meetings of businessman Federico Pastorello with the Italian emblem, in which the transfer was sent in the amount of 7.5 million euros, the proposal that reached Italy finally reached 5 million euros – immediately 3 million euros plus 2 million euros per goal – for which the Milan club refused to continue negotiations, as the amount indicated by the Leonin administration was considered too low.

At Alvalada, however, this failure does not undermine the intention to invite the player to coach Ruben Amorim, and in this sense, a new approach should be adopted in the coming days.

João Mario, who admitted that he is disappointed with the Green-White attitude, has ordered his agent to look for other opportunities, but A BOLA knows the midfielder still wants to stay in Portugal with a lion on his chest. It turns out that now he is more open to listening to other proposals, knowing that there have already been approaches from Spain (Villarreal) and France (Nice) – the Spaniards from the club, which, like the lions, will play for champions, pleases.
