The Rugby Tens Championship, the new 10th World Rugby League to launch in Lisbon this weekend, already has a set schedule.

Competitions for professional teams will start tomorrow, Saturday, at 13:00 at the Estádio Universitário de Lisboa stadium, with the group stage. The first to take action against the Balkan honey badgers in the female rhinoceros of San Clemente.

All teams will play against each other in the group stage to determine the playoff spots (semi-finals and finals), which will take place on Sunday from 11:00.

The Academy games (training) begin at 11.00 with the group stage. The playoffs, in which the winner of each stage is determined, will also be played this Sunday.

It should be noted that the four participating clubs are San Clementes Rhinos, Cape Town Wild Dogs, Serengeti Elephants and Balkan Honey Badgers, with each club having a professional men’s and women’s team, as well as a men’s and women’s academic (training) teams. …

The first leg of this new circuit will then take place in Lisbon, followed by Paris, Cape Town and Las Vegas. The competition, contested by the “franchises”, will have male and female aspects, and the team that scores the most points in stages by combining the results of the two teams will be declared champion.
