A BOLA – Directive Ultras XXI leaves Curva Sul in protest (Sporting)

Directivo Ultras XXI, Sporting’s cheerleading team, announced on Monday that they would be leaving the Curva Sul do Estádio de Alvalade stadium. A measure of protest against the agreement signed between the Leonine Youth and the Brigade Ultras XXI with the leadership of the lions.

“At the end of the 2021/22 sports season and in line with the approach adopted by Sporting CP, with the aim of concluding a cooperation protocol aimed at repositioning this Association to the internal part of the ZCEAP currently existing in Curva Sul. José Alvalade Stadium, the position of this Association opposing this change, was made public in defense of the consistency of its previous positions on the issue. […] However, two of the remaining three organized advocacy groups that make up Curva Sul have made their own decisions, which we naturally respect, but with which we do not identify. […] Taking into account all these factors and after much deliberation, we have come to inform you that we have decided to permanently and irrevocably terminate the participation and positioning of Associação Directivo Ultras XXI Curva Sul do Estádio José Alvalade, returning to Curva Norte already in 2022. 23 sports season”, you can read.
