Many images of a major Spanish retailer have emerged that could reveal PS5 price… Photos of El Corte Inglés appeared overnight, potentially revealing the cost of both versions of the upcoming console ahead of Sony’s official announcement.
Both images come from English courtwhich is one of the largest retailers in Spain. Photos of the store’s internal systems, showing entries for both the standard and digital PS5 versions, were posted to the Telegram messaging service, which lists two prices for the console. According to both photos, one PS5 version will cost € 499.90 ($ 594 / £ 460) and the other € 399.90 ($ 475 / £ 369). The digital version of the console is likely to be the cheaper version.

These prices may be the property of the seller for the console, but they are exactly the same as similar leaks were posted to Amazon France last month… Moreover, they are very similar to the prices we expect to see. Sony PS5 event tomorrowand when that revelation was so close, it looks like retailers would have been informed about the console’s official price.
If these prices are accurate, it looks like Microsoft will be able to significantly undermine Sony’s position. Both Xbox X series and Xbox S series cost about $ 100 less than their counterparts, and while Sony probably hopes its library of games will help influence shoppers, the overpricing could push a few people towards the next-gen Xbox.
That’s all upcoming PS5 games confirmed so far.
