The Municipal Civil Protection Service and the ANEPC (National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority) remind you of some precautions that must be observed:

  • Drive with caution, slowing down and taking extra care if ice may form on the roadway;
  • Do not cross flooded areas to prevent people or vehicles from being drawn into pavement holes or open sewers;
  • Take special care when walking and staying near forested areas, paying attention to the possibility of falling branches or trees in places with stronger winds;
  • Take extra care when traveling along coastlines and coastal areas historically more vulnerable to flooding and overflowing watercourses;

Pay attention to weather information and instructions from civil protection and security forces.
