It was Eliu Negao who introduced Alana Passos to Bolsonaro in 2018, when the president decided to support her in the Rio Legislature (Alerge). However, the first disagreements between the deputies began precisely this year. In the 2020 elections, there is even more confusion: Elio Negao refused to support the candidate nominated by Alana Passos for mayor of Keimados in Baixada Fluminense, their electoral stronghold. In response, she asked for votes to re-elect Rio Mayor Marcelo Crivella (Republicans) at a time when Elio’s name was also mentioned in a dispute in the capital. On her official pages on the Internet, Alana Passos describes herself as an evangelist, conservative, loyal squire and “the first of Bolsonaro”. Parliamentarian’s husband Robson Ferreira de Sousa has been appointed federal deputy Marcio Labre (PSL-RJ) with a gross salary of R $ 11.4 thousand. It is Robson who leads Alana’s political group.

On the other hand, Eliu Negao is the politician who almost always appears in the images in the press behind Bolsonaro during the president’s public statements.
