Cuba Gooding Jr. escapes from prison in case of harassment

Cuba Gooding Jr. escapes from prison in case of harassment

The announcement of the verdict for American actor Cuba Gooding Jr., who avoided imprisonment in a sexual harassment case, sparked protests from women who accused him of harassment, unwanted kisses and other inappropriate behavior.

The Oscar-winning actor avoided arrest by honoring a conditional plea agreement that resulted in him pleading guilty to charges relating to only one of the charges that prosecutors said involved at least 30 women.

Many of these situations happened in New York City nightclubs.

Manhattan Assistant Attorney Colin Balbert told the judge Thursday that since the settlement was reached in April, Gooding has stayed out of trouble and completed six months of alcohol and behavior counseling.

This allowed him to withdraw his guilty plea for forcibly kissing a waitress at a Manhattan nightclub in 2018 and instead plead guilty to a non-criminal harassment violation.

The star of films such as Jerry Maguire, The Hooded Boys and The Radio has thus avoided other sentences and a criminal record.

“This settlement looks like a gaffe,” said Kelsey Herbert, a neuroscience student whose accusation that Gooding groped her in a nightclub led to his arrest in 2019, but that is not part of his guilty plea.

“After three long years of trying to hold Mr. Gooding responsible for touching my breasts without my consent, the dismissal of my case in court is more disappointing than words can express,” added Kelsey Harbert, who at times cried during your statements in court.

The actor, who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 1997 for his role in Jerry Maguire, was first arrested in June 2019 following an incident at a Times Square bar and later released on bail.

Cuba Gooding Jr. He was also accused of groping a waitress’s buttocks at a New York restaurant in October 2018 and of “non-consensual sexual intercourse” at a nightclub, also in New York.

In a separate case, Cuba Gooding Jr. was charged in civil court with rape by an anonymous informant, a crime for which he is demanding six million dollars (about 5.5 million euros).

Gooding, like other Hollywood heavyweights, was condemned by the #MeToo movement that began five years ago.

While Gooding was in court this Thursday to settle his case, another Oscar-winning actor, Kevin Spacey, is facing trial in the same block in a civil lawsuit that accuses him of sexually abusing actor Anthony Rapp.

Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, former studio head Harvey Weinstein and That ’70s Show star Danny Masterson are facing trial in various rape cases.

Weinstein was convicted on similar charges in New York in 2020 and is serving a 23-year prison sentence.

Bryan Danielson accused of indecent talk

Bryan Danielson accused of indecent talk

Bryan Danielson is one of the best fighters in the world, but he is also quite ridiculous due to his talk or public statements.

In an interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful before Dynamite last WednesdayDax Harwood commented on his fight against American Dragon as follows.

Obviously, I’m very excited before the fight. He may be the best fighter in history. If we’re talking about work [em ringue]he might be the best ever. I am very excited before the fight.

They said: “You will be fighting Bryan Danielson and we need you to do this promo”🇧🇷 I was like, “What can I say to make these people care about the fight?” Obviously people will enjoy watching the fight.

I’m not one of those people who think that every fight should have a story. I see you complain all the time. When the Cleveland Cavaliers play the Atlanta Hawks, do you think there’s a story behind it or are they just playing to win?

Are there two fighters, or four fighters, or six fighters? [ao ringue] Win. Not every match has to have a story, but I wanted people to be interested in this match, so I had to come up with a reason very quickly, and that’s how I got it.

Regarding the conversations Bryan Danielson sometimes makes, including about “flabby penises”, the FTR member had this to say:

I didn’t see the news but I’ll tell you something, this story along with many other stories he talks non-stop. All he does is talk about penis size in the locker room. All such “Brian, why are we talking about this?”.

What do you think of these statements by Dax Harwood about Bryan Danielson?

Which, as you already know, has dire consequences,” he wrote. Patricia Conde also hints that her involvement was fabricated. “I wish I was more competitive and ambitious.
