With another Portuguese on his resume, Yuri Alberto hopes to become vice president at Corinthians.

In the match against Pacos de Ferreira, Benfica completes participation in the Portuguese championship.

Forward Yuri Alberto, new player Corinthiansit’s already working with actors and coach Vitor Pereira. The coach, however, is not the first Portuguese he has worked with in his career. In his presentation conferencelast Friday at Neo Química Arena, he spoke about this coincidence in his short trajectory.

“The guy (Vítor Pereira), who has received me very well, gives me a lot of touches during training. In 2020 I had a job with Jesualdo (Ferreira), he also taught me a lot, he was a guy who gave me a lot. sequences. play with him, I had a lot of sequences, I started scoring goals like a pro because I was still a kid”, he started laughing, using an expression that VP uses with young Timão players.

“From the games I played with him, I matured a lot and then moved to Inter. I hope Vitor Pereira will help me and I can also help the team a lot. I prepared a lot, on vacation I continued to work. because I knew it could happen. I could stay for a long time, but I prepare a lot so that, God willing, on the 20th I can debut and be physically healthy,” he added.

Yuri Alberto is only 21 years old, but he has already managed to visit two major Brazilian clubs and one European club, Zenit, from where he came on loan for a year. Before heading to Russia, he was trained in the youth ranks of Santos, where he reached the professional level and worked with Jesuado Ferreira. He has scored in seven official games from 2019 to 2020.

Without renewing his contract with Peixe, he went to Internacional, a club with which he had many relationships and even tried to return to this window. Colorado had 85 caps and 31 goals between 2020 and 2021.

Finally, in Zenit, the forward played only 15 matches, 11 in the Russian Championship and two in the Russian Cup, 11 of them in the starting lineup.

Closer to his family, which was one of the reasons he decided to return to Brazil, he pointed out that Vitor Pereira was also one of the differentiators in choosing Corinthians at the time.

“He (Vítor Pereira) was one of the main reasons I came here. He’s a guy I want to learn a lot from, he’s lived in Europe and he’s already won great titles. I hope to help him and he will help me.” , it’s finished.

Yuri Alberto is still unable to make his debut for Corinthians. This can only happen when this is published regularly in the CBF Daily Newsletter (BID) when the transfer window opens on July 18th. The next meeting will take place in Coritiba on 20 July in Ithaquera.

Corinthians’ next match will take place this Sunday at 16:00 (GMT) against Flamengo in the 16th round of the Brazilian Championship at the Neo Quimica Arena.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.

According to a statement sent by O MINHO, “he will be the first Portuguese conductor to conduct this orchestra in its entire history.”

In addition to this orchestra, the maestro will also work with the Lyceo Mozarteum de la Habana Symphony Orchestra.

The concerts will take place on 4 and 12 March 2023 at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana.

In the words of the maestro, quoted in the statement, “these will be very beautiful concerts with difficult but very complex pieces” and therefore he feels “very motivated”.

From the very beginning, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed by an Italian pianist (Luigi Borzillo), whom the maestro wants to bring to Portugal later this year. In the same concert, Mendelshon’s First Symphony will be performed.

Then, at the second concert, in the company of the Mexican clarinetist Angel Zedillo, he will perform the Louis Sfora Concerto No. 2. In this concert, the maestro also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.

“This is an international recognition of my work. An invitation that I accept with humility and great responsibility. I was surprised to learn that I would be the first Portuguese member of the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. This is a very great honor,” the maestro said in a statement.

“I take with me the name of the city of Braga and Portugal with all the responsibility that goes with it, and I hope to do a good job there, leaving a good image and putting on great concerts. These will be very special concerts because, in addition to performing pieces that I love, especially Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, I will be directing two wonderful soloists who are also my friends. It will be very beautiful,” concludes Filipe Cunha.
