outside of United's pre-season, the Portuguese is looking for clubs

The future of Cristiano Ronaldo is still open. A week ago, he warned his Manchester United club that he would not be returning for pre-season. The club agreed, but this announcement only added to the rumors about his fate. After all, where did the owner of five titles of the best in the world go?

Although Manchester United suggest they want to count on the Portuguese star, the player’s agent Jorge Mendes is clearly studying the market. It has been reported in the international press that he holds meetings with some clubs such as Chelsea and Barcelona. Meetings with Todd Boelithe new owner of the London club, and with Joan Doorfrom Barcelona have been confirmed, but which players have been discussed have not – besides CR7, Mendez is the manager of names such as Bernardo Silva from Manchester City, the Brazilian Fabinho from Liverpool or the Argentinean Di Maria, who arrived at Juventus.

The list of interested parties still includes Bayern Munich and Naples, but these are difficult negotiations. The leadership of the German club, for example, has already stated that it is not interested, while the Italians they don’t know if they will have the money to hire them. In London, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel does not want to see the striker.

The same opinion is shared by Manchester United. Officially, the team’s new coach, Dutchman Erik ten Hag, praised the Portuguese and said he wanted to continue working with him. However, the European press is wondering if Ronaldo can create a better team around him. For example, last season it was reported that a striker’s complaints about teammates caused internal friction.

In addition, there is the question of Ronaldo’s own opinion. according to insider transfer market Fabrizio Romano, the problem with United is the club’s lack of ambition in this window: no big name is believed to have been signed. It is believed that the Portuguese wants to play in a competitive team, and not in one that is again entering the process of recovery.

Meanwhile, the club says “family issues” will keep Cristiano Ronaldo out of the club’s pre-season. Last Friday (8) the Red Devils announced the line-up that will participate in trips to Thailand and Australia without him: “Cristiano Ronaldo will not be in the group that goes to Thailand, as he was given extra time to solve the problem. families,” the statement said.

CR7 also makes less use of social media. For example, her last three Instagram posts are ads, and the last post was on July 2nd. His last text about Manchester United was on June 6, when he received the 2021/22 Player of the Year award as voted by the supporters.

Thanks to all the fans who voted for me. I am very proud to have won the Sir Matt Busby award in my year back at Old Trafford and the Premier League. This award goes to all the fans who never let us down in a very difficult season. Thank you so much for always being by our side and helping us get Manchester United back on track. We know we can count on you,” he wrote.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.

According to a statement sent by O MINHO, “he will be the first Portuguese conductor to conduct this orchestra in its entire history.”

In addition to this orchestra, the maestro will also work with the Lyceo Mozarteum de la Habana Symphony Orchestra.

The concerts will take place on 4 and 12 March 2023 at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana.

In the words of the maestro, quoted in the statement, “these will be very beautiful concerts with difficult but very complex pieces” and therefore he feels “very motivated”.

From the very beginning, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed by an Italian pianist (Luigi Borzillo), whom the maestro wants to bring to Portugal later this year. In the same concert, Mendelshon’s First Symphony will be performed.

Then, at the second concert, in the company of the Mexican clarinetist Angel Zedillo, he will perform the Louis Sfora Concerto No. 2. In this concert, the maestro also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.

“This is an international recognition of my work. An invitation that I accept with humility and great responsibility. I was surprised to learn that I would be the first Portuguese member of the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. This is a very great honor,” the maestro said in a statement.

“I take with me the name of the city of Braga and Portugal with all the responsibility that goes with it, and I hope to do a good job there, leaving a good image and putting on great concerts. These will be very special concerts because, in addition to performing pieces that I love, especially Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, I will be directing two wonderful soloists who are also my friends. It will be very beautiful,” concludes Filipe Cunha.
