Halo Infinite prevents you from repeating campaign missions in a single save • Eurogamer.pt

Update: 343 says this will be implemented at a later date.

Update

343 Industries has confirmed that it is working on a feature that will allow campaign missions to be replayed in the same save.

343’s Paul Crocker confirmed to The Verge that they don’t have a date to report yet, but are working on it.

“We want to have a replay function that works well, and when you have more open play, it gets more complex,” Crocker confirmed.

Original

The Halo Infinite campaign is almost here, and Microsoft has confirmed that one of the features that existed in previous games in the series will not be available in this new release.

Like games like Destiny, and unlike previous Halo games, Infinite takes you to the open world and prevents you from repeating campaign missions in a single save. If you lose any of the collectibles, you can return to the mission location in this open world to retrieve it, but in the case of the first two missions, you will have to create a new save.

In statements to PolygonMicrosoft confirmed that this option is missing from Halo Infinite in the traditional way, which, through a menu, allowed you to repeat missions, select difficulty, and activate skulls.

“After the game is over, you have the option to continue exploring the scene, but for missions like the first two, where you are not yet in the ring, you cannot replay in the same game file.”

Microsoft makes it clear that you can collect audio files, hunt for targets and get what you missed, but you cannot repeat campaign missions in the same save.

Samsung plans to release a tablet with a folding screen

BUT Samsung has already made it clear that it intends to continue betting on foldable phones, which will include the company’s new Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 models this week.

Apart from wanting to contribute to the foldable mobile phone category, a South Korean tech company is also known to be developing a foldable screen tablet. Who says this is the Ice Universe page on the Chinese social network Weibo (via Android Headers), referring to the fact that the tablet in question will be called the Galaxy Tab Fold.

The page in question suggests that the Galaxy Tab Fold will be announced at the same Galaxy Tab S9 launch event that Samsung usually holds in the first quarter of the year.

It is possible that the presentation of these two tablets will take place in early 2023, but given that we had to wait two years between the Galaxy S7 (2020) and Galaxy S8 (2022), there is also a possibility that the Galaxy Tab Fold and Galaxy Tab S9 will appear only in 2024.
