The euro to Portugal is over, there are rumors of a transfer. Six national team players with an uncertain future - O Jornal Económico

Euro 2020 is over for the European champion, and for some of the Seleção it has become even more frequent in the news regarding the transfer market. The Quinas team has six players whose future remains uncertain and which may be determined within the next month.

Cristiano Ronaldo
There is a year left until the end of the contract with Juventus, but its future is open – England and France will lead the fate of the Portuguese ace. There are reports from Italy that old lady he would not mind getting rid of Cristiano Ronaldo’s salary: € 31 million net per year, which ultimately amounts to € 86 million in Juventus accounts. Last season for Juventus, he scored 36 goals in 44 games and five goals in Euro 2020.

Renato Sanchez
He still has two years in his contract with Lille, but playing for the French champions this season, as well as Euro 2020, seems to have given new life to the 23-year-old center midfielder, who cost Bayern € 35 million. July 2016. The sports press, estimated at 30 million euros, pointed to a new direction in Renato Sánchez’s career, or even a return to the house where he was unhappy. The German champions have a € 30 million clause that allows them to redeem their pass.

Bernardo Silva
After winning the Premier League and reaching the Champions League final, Bernardo Silva envisioned a great European competition that will prove the talent of the Manchester City left-hander after his absence from injury in 2016. But Euro 2020 did not go well for Bernardo Silva, who in the days when he was in the European tournament saw that his name was involved in possible player changes that could lead him to Barcelona.

João Moutinho
At 34, the Wolverhampton midfielder has another year in a contract with the English team. After becoming part of the European champion’s team in 2016, Fernando Santos did not abandon the experienced midfielder and took him in as a resource solution for a couple already idealized for midfield: Danilo and William Carvalho. The selector straightened his hand and returned Moutinho to eleventh place in a duet with Renato Sanchez. Return to Portugal expected, with Porto showing interest in the return of the Sporting midfielder.

Sergio Oliveira
He has ranked among the top eleven in the Champions League this season. FC Porto’s excellent performance and goals scored (20 goals in 48 games, an outstanding record for a midfielder) convinced Fernando Santos to take him to the European Championship, where he only had the opportunity to prove himself within 14 minutes. Despite a few minutes, Sergio Oliveira was the most talked about name on the transfer bulletin: the opportunity to move to Fiorentina disappeared, but Tottenham were able to raise enough 20 million to bring the midfielder to the best contract of his career at 29 years old.

Nuno Mendes
Sporting’s most valuable player was called up as an alternative to Rafael Guerreiro, but ended up having no opportunities during the Euro, mainly due to an injury that prevented him from taking part in this competition. The lack of minutes did not affect the interest in the left-back: the best teams in Manchester showed interest in the 19-year-old defender.

It should be noted that not only the amount in question has been paid, but the entire debt owed to the aforementioned Italian club has been paid in full as of 11 January.
