This Site Shows You Where Your Favorite Netflix Shows Are

Published

on

Ever sit down to watch one of your friend’s recommendations on Netflix only to be hit with the dreaded “error 404” page? We know the feeling all too well. Question is, how do you get around that? Well, all you need is StreamCatcher and a VPN.

For those of you unfamiliar with how VPNs work, the gist of it is as follows. Netflix detects your real life location by reading your IP address, an identifier that shows websites your country, city, and even ZIP code. To get around geo-restrictions, VPNs simply mask your real IP. They then replace it with a new one based on which country you connect to in the provider’s app.

Pretty straightforward, though not all VPNs work on Netflix. Fortunately, you don’t need hours of research to find a decent one either. Along with comprehensive info about your favorite Netflix shows, StreamCatcher also offers world-class VPN recommendations. You’ll see providers that can evade Netflix’s advanced VPN filters and unblock its international catalogs without a hitch.

With all that out of the way, here’s what info StreamCatcher includes when you look up a show you want to watch.

Which Netflix library has your favorite show

Outdated regional licensing practices are the reason you can’t watch certain TV shows or movies in your area. Media companies will continue to block movies and TV shows until they stop equating streaming platforms with cable TV.

Mind you, it’s not like Netflix don’t want to bring their shows to a global audience. After all – the more people watching, the better. Unfortunately, they’re contractually obligated to protect these regional restrictions on behalf of the companies they license shows from.

If you’re already a VPN user, then you know how helpful they are in unblocking shows from around the world. The problem is you never know which country has certain titles, and Netflix definitely won’t make it easier for you to find out.

Fortunately, StreamCatcher has up-to-date info about where you can watch all Netflix content. What’s more, it also mentions how many seasons of a show are available at each location. It’s especially useful considering how fragmented some series are on the platform. A good example is Arrow – even though the show has ended, the latter couple of seasons still haven’t been released in select countries.

Refined search options

Don’t have a specific show or movie in mind? StreamCatcher lets you search by the following criteria as well:

  • Release year – see the classics or look for the latest additions to the Netflix catalog.
  • Audio language and/ or subtitles and which countries they’re available in. Useful if English isn’t your first language or are looking for foreign productions.
  • A few filters are not immediately obvious. For each show, scrolling down to the bottom of its entry page will reveal filters for genre, actor, and creator. Clicking on any of the tags will take you to the search page where you can see more titles from your favorite directors, starring your favorite actors, and so on.

It’s not the most intuitive system, but that’s not the primary focus of the tool so it gets a pass. The fact that you can easily find where to watch your favorite shows on Netflix is more than enough to make your weekend binge sessions more enjoyable.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.

According to a statement sent by O MINHO, “he will be the first Portuguese conductor to conduct this orchestra in its entire history.”

In addition to this orchestra, the maestro will also work with the Lyceo Mozarteum de la Habana Symphony Orchestra.

The concerts will take place on 4 and 12 March 2023 at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana.

In the words of the maestro, quoted in the statement, “these will be very beautiful concerts with difficult but very complex pieces” and therefore he feels “very motivated”.

From the very beginning, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed by an Italian pianist (Luigi Borzillo), whom the maestro wants to bring to Portugal later this year. In the same concert, Mendelshon’s First Symphony will be performed.

Then, at the second concert, in the company of the Mexican clarinetist Angel Zedillo, he will perform the Louis Sfora Concerto No. 2. In this concert, the maestro also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.

“This is an international recognition of my work. An invitation that I accept with humility and great responsibility. I was surprised to learn that I would be the first Portuguese member of the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. This is a very great honor,” the maestro said in a statement.

“I take with me the name of the city of Braga and Portugal with all the responsibility that goes with it, and I hope to do a good job there, leaving a good image and putting on great concerts. These will be very special concerts because, in addition to performing pieces that I love, especially Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, I will be directing two wonderful soloists who are also my friends. It will be very beautiful,” concludes Filipe Cunha.
